Snooki's car crash neckbrace: 'She was joking,' says MTV
You can take Snooki's license (and possibly her dignity), but you can't take her sense of humor!Shortly after crashing into an Italian police car, resulting in the loss of her international drivers license, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi was spotted around Florence, Italy in a nude colored neck brace. Ever the purveyor of good taste, Snooks later waved the brace around laughing in front of photographers.
"She was joking," an MTV spokesperson tells People. "She sustained no injuries as a result of the traffic accident."
The police, however, did not fare so well. Both officers were sent to the hospital with minor injuries. Reportedly, they have 90 days to decide whether civil action will be taken against the reality star, though there have been no arrests made thus far.
In an interesting twist to the story, said police car was actually on hand as a protective escort for the "Jersey Shore" star and her passenger, Deena Cortese.
Whoops.

Just another example of why reality shows need to be shut down. Having dregs of humanity on television, making idiots of themselves, and then, having the news media, like ******, running after everything they say and do, and publishing it, as if it's newsworthy, spells out everything that's wrong with American news and society.
Snooki would have never gotten into this accident much less be able to embarrass us as a nation if she just would have stayed in the kitchen where a woman belongs. Gentlemen we need to stop giving the clearly inferior half of our species rights and stop them from feeling empowered to do things. Woman should cook, clean, and reproduce strong healthy male children who grow up to continue to keep women in their place. These two cops are a good example of weakness. A pushed in quarter panel on a vehicle and these two are ready to crawl into body bags. Just proves another known fact, other countries are pathetic. That's why they hate us, because Americans walk around the globe like bosses taking what we want, killing who we want, and make it home in time to watch American Idol.
So many people that don't care, but they feel the need to read every story and comment on how much they don't care. If you really don't give a ****, then skip the stories about the cast and don't watch the show. It's that easy to avoid them. I'm glad that she's okay and in good spirits...
