Shia LaBeouf spills on Megan Fox hookup in new Details interview

In the new issue of Details, conveniently timed to coincide with the Friday (July 1) of his new movie, "Transformers: Dark of the Moon," star Shia LaBeouf dishes on his extremely busy love life and finally admits that he did indeed hook-up with Megan Fox, who co-starred with him in the first two "Transformer" installments.

"Look, you're on the set for six months, with someone who's rooting to be attracted to you, and you're rooting to be attracted to them," LaBeouf says in the new interview. "I never understood the separation of work and life in that situation. But the time I spent with Megan was our own thing, and I think you can see the chemistry onscreen."

We're not sure on the exact definition of "rooting" in this situation, but let's just all assume it's LaBeouf's quaint way of saying the actors were totally in lust on set.

When asked if Fox was with her now-husband and then-fiance Brian Austin Green at the time, LaBeouf responds, "I don't know, man. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know."

We conclude he doesn't know.

LaBeouf also opens up about his relationships with "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" co-star Isabel Lucas, Hilary Duff ("Probably the worst date either of us have ever had"), "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps" co-star Carey Mulligan and current gal pal Karolyn Pho.
