Shia LaBeouf reveals he's done with 'Transformers': 'I'm not coming back'

shia-trans.jpgThat's a wrap, folks.

Shia LaBeouf is done with the "Transformers" franchise. In an interview with MTV News, LaBeouf, 24, says he won't be returning for a fourth installment of the successful series.

"I'm not coming back to do another one. I don't think [director Michael Bay] will either," he says. "It's still a hot property, I think, especially coming out of the third one. So I imagine they'll reboot it at some point with someone else."

The actor admits that while he'll definitely go see the film, it'll still be weird to see another actor take his place. He jokes, "You have an onus in it. I'll enjoy it. I'll go see it opening night, I'll be there. But there is a disconnect. It's mine, dude. It's mine."

LaBeouf also talks about the franchise's third film "Transformers: Dark of the Moon," which hits theaters July 1. "This is the best movie we've made, I'm serious. It's not a joke. I'm dead honest, man," he says. "I get myself in trouble all the time, but this is our best installment. It's our best movie."

We're not sure we'd see a "Transformers" movie without Shia. Would you, Zappers?

Shia should take time off to learn English.

It's disheartening when the original actors are in it for 3 of the movies but not the remaining ones, kinda like Batman, there were alot of Bruce Waynes!

A lot is TWO WORDS!!!!!

Who cares? It's all about the robots, anyway. ****** LaDouche should learn not to bite the hand that feeds him.

LaBeouf has been the weak link in Transformers.
The story could be continued without him and without rebooting.

Agree with everyone here, it's about the robots. Who cares if he's not in any more of them? Focus on the Autobots and Decepticons. We don't need humans in them at all.

I guess I am in the minority here. I thought Fox was the weak link in the first two movies. She was just there to be hot because she cant act at all. Granted Shia isnt a great actor but he sure as hell is better than Fox. They will just reboot the whole thing anyways after this if he leaves.

He's such a weird actor. I feel like he should be bigger because the movies he's in make a lot of money, but I don't think he's the reason anyone goes to see those movies.

He'll be back for 5 or 6, I'm sure.

i can see why he is done as he dosent want to be sterotyped into that role

and he is young enough to have a huge career

however then again i am not sure what he makes and the movies can be done with out him but i am sure he gets 10 million or more upfront and possibly more on the backfront if he does those deals which in those movies actors can make in the 100 millions

basically is a easy oaycheck for that movie
even though action intesive most is infront of green screen

plus he gets to work with hot chicks to which dosent hurt

however probably paramount is done with the film franchise anyways for another 10 years until they reboot it which dosent make much sense to me all these big film franchises gets rebooted cant see why one or two films dont go for 5 or more movies with out rebooting i can see if you have to recast a role but starting from scartch
and after all they are popcorn flicks not like trying to be very sophisticated storylines they might as well as just pump them up

i'll totally watch without shia
