Sean Penn and Garcelle Garcelle Beauvais: New couple alert?

Stop the presses. Sean Penn, who was most recently romantically linked to Scarlett Johansson, was spotted eating with "Franklin & Bash" actress Garcelle Beauvais on Monday (June 13).

The two were apparently seen sharing a meal at Los Angeles' Sunset Tower Hotel. Penn reportedly arrived alone and sat at the bar, but moved to a table when Beauvais arrived.

"When she arrived, they moved to the front corner table, which put them on display," a source tells E! News. "They sat inside for a while and even ordered food."

Shocking!

Reps for both Penn and Beauvais refused to comment to E!, but since Beauvais was born in Haiti and Penn basically lives there now helping out with the post-earthquake relief efforts -- we're guessing their meal was more of a tete-a-tete about where things stand in Beauvais' home country than a romantic dalliance.

Still, anything's possible.
