Scotty McCreery joins Josh Turner on stage at CMA Fest
"Baby lock them doors and turn the lights down low..."CMA Music Festival concert-goers were in for a real treat on Saturday, June 11, when "American Idol" winner Scotty McCreery made a surprise appearance during Josh Turner's performance. Do you really have to ask what they sang together? Of course it was "Your Man," the song that launched Scotty's "Idol" journey.
This isn't the first time Josh and Scotty performed the song together -- Josh surprised Scotty on stage during his hometown visit (Garner, N.C.) on the show.
In an interview with K Frog Live, Scotty revealed he has already recorded five songs for his debut album. The 17-year-old said he probably won't be writing any tracks for his first album, but hopes to hone the craft for the future. "Hopefully as the years progress, I'll get better. I'll be working with the top writers in Nashville and developing my craft as a writer too."
"Idol" runner-up Lauren Alaina also made a surprise appearance -- joining Martina McBride on stage to sing "Anyway" -- a song Alaina covered on the show. On Friday (June 10), Scotty and Lauren made their debut at the Grand Ole Opry.
We'll post video of Scotty and Lauren's surprise CMA Fest appearance once it becomes available.

Is it just me or do they look like brothers? Uncanny.
Why is Nashville and the Grand old Opry so hush hush? Give us video and not radio tunes? It is the 21st century and not clear channel radio
They kinda do look like they could be brothers or cousins or something. I love them both
