Robin Williams, daughter Zelda, star in 'Legend of Zelda' Nintendo commercial
Nintendo: Bringing families together for over 20 years. Or at least Robin Williams' family.The actor appears in a new ad for the upcoming Nintendo video game titled "Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D" along with his real life daughter named -- you guessed it -- Zelda.
Though game creator Shigeru Miyamoto reportedly borrowed the moniker from Zelda Fitzgerald (wife of "Great Gatsby" author F. Scott Fitzgerald), Zelda Williams was, in fact, named after the video game character. In the ad, her father says, "The first time I saw you, I knew we'd be linked forever. For you, I traveled to the four corners of the world. I faced adversity. I became a hero."
"Are you mixing me up with the princess again?" the 21-year-old actress chimes in.
"Hard to say," Robin replies. "You're both pretty magical."
Though the ad says "Zelda fans since 1987," Williams was born in 1989. In 2007, she was named one of People Magazine's 100 Most Beautiful People.
