Rob Zombie meets Woolite: Watch the horror commercial
Horror elements may be a bit of a stretch when it comes to selling laundry detergent, but that's what makes this Woolite ad so memorable. The marketing team behind Woolite tapped "Halloween" and "House of 1,000 Corpses" director Rob Zombie for their latest ad campaign titled "The Torturer." In the 30-second spot below, we witness a terrifying baddie as he horrifically simulates the stretching, shrinking and fading of clothes that is caused by some heavy-duty detergents.
The commercial can currently be found on the Woolite Facebook page, but will begin running in movie theaters during the July 4th weekend. There is also a slightly milder version of the same ad, which will air on television beginning in mid-July.
