Rep. Gabrielle Giffords is all smiles in Facebook pictures as she is preparing to leave the hospital

Representative Gabrielle Giffords was involved in a horrific shooting in Tucson that left six people dead, a dozen more wounded and Giffords herself recovering from a gunshot wound to the head. She has been mostly private during her recovery time, only emerging into the public eye last month to attend her husband Mark Kelly's shuttle launch.But now Giffords has posted two pictures on Facebook - one of her with her mother Gloria (above) and one of her smiling for the camera. She looks great, especially considering the long road to recovery she's been on.
Spokesman C.J. Karamargin tells People that doctors are preparing to release Gabby from the hospital into an outpatient program. "They are preparing her to go home. This is wonderful for her."
We're glad to see her looking so healthy.

While I do agree with your statement, I do believe that this story is very newsworthy. I mean, come on, a US Representative survived an assassination attempt - a bullet to the head. Pretty remarkable and news worthy. And definitely not the time to begin political debates like it seems you're trying to do. (one example is your name: RightView)
Hey Right View, just let this woman have a moment here. It's a miracle she's alive, and her story is quite inspirational.
Also, your statement is extremely biased and misguided given what Bush's unjust war is Iraq did to our economy.
