Rep. Anthony Weiner to resign from the House of Representatives

anthony-weiner-looking-down-getty.jpgIn the wake of a scandal that involved Congressman Anthony Weiner exchanging texts, messages and photos with various young women across the country, Rep. Weiner has taken the advice of his Democratic colleagues and decided to step down.

Weiner has not officially announced anything, but a "Democratic source with knowledge of the situation" tells NBC News that Weiner will resign his Congressional seat. Weiner reportedly informed House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi of his choice to resign at the White House Congressional picnic Wednesday (June 15).

According to NBC's political correspondent Luke Russert, around 9:30 a.m. ET, Weiner's staffers left his office with their belongings, leaving the office locked and dark.

There is speculation that Weiner would only step down after finally having a face-to-face talk with his pregnant wife Huma Abedin, who serves as the Deputy Chief of Staff to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and had just returned home from an overseas work trip.

Are Taxpayers still paying his Pension and Benefits package till he dies Cause in the real World you don't get shiit.

Sad how because he has game he was forced to resign by republicans, meanwhile no one says anything to old Sara for having retarded kids, her braty daughter Piper being all rude to reporters and Pig Bristol getting fat till she had work done and now is selling herself to realty shows like some recycled Alsska trash. Oh well he will become presidents and poor republicans will always be in congress, lol

Weiner is the Poster Boy for everything that is wrong with our Country or What's left of it after Obama.

Agenda 21 and Global Governance is even more dangerous than the Gay Agenda the Media Rams down our throats every day.

Too bad. He had alot of potential. Hopefully he can turn this around after things cool down and some other scandal takes everyone's attention.
I may not adore his actions, but I like his politics and him as a person. Hopefully he has learned from this and hopefully other politicians have too.
