Nia Long, Ime Udoka expecting first child together

Congratulations are in order for Nia Long and Ime Udoka.

The actress and the professional basketball player are expecting their first child together this fall, People reports. Long has a son, Massai, 10, from a previous relationship while this will be Udoka's first child.

"This is the most exciting time in our lives," Long, 40, and Udoka, 33, tell the magazine in a statement. "Words can't explain how thrilled we are by the new addition to our family. We feel truly blessed and appreciate all the well wishes and prayers."

Long recently appeared on NBC's short-lived series "Chase" and is most well-known for her roles in "Big Momma's House" and "Friday."
