Michael Jackson 'Thriller' jacket up for auction: Got $400K?
You may never be able to master Michael Jackson's "Thriller" creep, but who's going to care if you're wearing his iconic, geometric red leather jacket from the video? Julien's Auctions of Beverly Hills is hosting a "Music Icons" auctions later in June, and one of the items on the block is MJ's famous outerwear from the music video.
And we're not talking about the tatty one he wore in zombie mode. This one is in mint condition, with a giant autograph on the left sleeve just so everyone knows how much you paid for it.
Did we mention it's going to cost you? Bidding, which kicks off June 25, starts at $100,000. The jacket is expected to go for at least twice (and probably four times) as much.
Other items up for bid in the 600-plus lot include Gene Simmons' checkered pants, an absurd Liberace cow-hide coat and a Madonna bustier. But let's be honest... Those are all a dime a dozen.
