Lady Gaga's 'Edge of Glory' video features Clarence Clemons pre-stroke
Lady Gaga's latest video for her summer smash "Edge of Glory" finds the singer strutting her way through an abandoned New York City neighborhood, save for the E Street Band's resident saxophonist, Clarence Clemons.Don't expect a lot of complicated dance moves or overly artsy concepts in the vid (it's no "Bad Romance"), but you will see a leather dominatrix-esque outfit, a black and blonde wig, some grinding and definite fist pumping. Is it just us, or does that 'hood totally remind you of the "Sesame Street" set?

Sadly, Clemons suffered a serious stroke just a few days before the release of the video. The musician is reportedly in recovery, but Gaga called on her army "Little Monsters" to create a get well video for him. We've included it below, complete with an intro message from Gaga herself.

This is Lady Gaga's tamest video. No wonder Fox could air it!
I feel the video is a recreation of Rent's "Out Tonight." The choreography is oddly reminiscent of the Broadway play. It is hard to compare to others, but I definitely like the aesthetic of it. However, I was expecting something more from Gaga; this seems to be the least innovation of her videos from her popular songs.
@Beth - Fox also aired the Judas video on American Idol about a month ago. If Fox can air shows with content such as Family Guy, I think Lady Gaga is less crude and more acceptable.

That was Clarence Clemons allright. Sad to see this was his last gig before the stroke. Will miss the sound and the man in the E-street band.
