Lady Gaga's blue armpit hair (and more): Born that way?

At Sunday's Much Music Video Awards in Toronto, Lady Gaga performed "Edge of Glory" and took home the awards for International Video of the Year (for "Judas") and Favorite International Artist. To end the night on the right note, she returned to the stage for a highly anticipated finale performance of "Born This Way." We've gotten used to being a little bit shocked by Gaga's performances -- whether she's bursting out of an egg or getting doused with fake blood, she always keeps us on our toes. Tonight, she gave us blue pubic hair.
No, seriously. She glued blue hair to her armpits and crotch area to match her long, flowing blue wig.
We're not exactly accustomed to seeing pubes or female armpit hair at awards shows, but we suppose the au naturale look would work with the theme of "Born This Way"... if it wasn't blue. Because we're 99% sure she wasn't born that way.
