Jessica and Ashlee Simpson: Sisters start teen-centric clothing line

The Jessica Simpson Collection is getting a new addition, thanks to Jessica's little sis, Ashlee. The line has long been a lucrative brand for Jessica, and she says that a tween collection is a natural extension. The line will be aimed at girls between 9 and 12 and will feature sportswear and activewear.

"I'm excited to bring my sister, Ashlee, along as co-creative director of this division, because she brings a savvy rocker edge that defines today's tweens," Jessica tells Women's Wear Daily.

The line will be available in over 400 stores sometime this fall. "My goal as co-creative director will be to design clothes that will help inspire young girls to express their personalities and creativity through fashion," Ashlee says.
