Gwen Stefani and No Doubt have news for you -- but what?

No Doubt has not released an album since 2001's "Rock Steady" -- or a single since the cover of Talk Talk's "It's My Life" off of the 2003 greatest hits compilation. But the '90s super-group has been in the studio again, and we may soon reap the benefits.

EW has a new interview with the band, and in addition to confirming the previously assumed news the singer Gwen Stefani won't likely return to her solo career, the magazine teases that an announcement is on the horizon for the band.

June 10, in fact.

Promising "big news" when the full interview hits newsstands, it seems like new No Doubt material is imminent.

No Doubt had previously promised a new album in 2008, when they originally returned to the studio, but Stefani's pregnancy with second son Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale and an eventual tour sidelined any release.

Are you as excited as we are for a new No Doubt album? Or do you think they have something else planned?

Hellz Ya

Oh, it's an album alright! So excited! It's been far too long.

Thank God she's going back to No Doubt because her solo stuff was hard to listen to.

buffybot, her solo stuff was a bigger HIT than her No Doubt stuff.

@Zeke,

Record sales prove otherwise. Tragic Kingdom sold almost as much as her solo work combined.

No Doubt is not a supergroup. A supergroup is either a group made up of members of other successful bands or its a group that got bitten by some kind of radioactive creature.
