Can't a man just go see a movie with his family? Political pundit and former Fox News anchor Glenn Beck told radio listeners during his show on Tuesday that he just wanted to watch an outdoor screening of a Hitchcock film with his family when they were attacked by "hateful people" in a "hostile situation."Beck says that a fellow moviegoer kicked wine onto his wife's back, and when she and his daughter got up to use the bathroom, someone in there pointed at them and yelled, "We hate conservatives here!" (They were in New York City.)
"These people were some of the most hateful people I've ever seen. All I wanted to do was watch a movie in the park. I have a right to watch and enjoy a movie in the park," Beck says. "If I had suggested 'Does anybody have a rope? Because there's a tree here. You could just lynch me.' I think there would've been a couple in the crowd that would've."
Don't pity Beck, though. Instead, pity his attackers -- he does. "I feel sorry for you, I really feel sorry for you because he you are 25 years old and you are so lost, so arrogant, and so convinced you are 100 percent right and you are helping build a system that is fueled by hate. You're being used and you don't even know it," he said, addressing the harassers on the show.

Okay, so why is this important? I can't get over the fact that this type of thing is reported AFTER Beck leaves his show on FOX. What?, he wasn't getting attention so he reports on this as if he's suddenly realizing he never was as popular like he thought he was. He's a hate-monger and said far worse things about people.

You're being used and you don't even know it".... yup, seems to work perfectly in the reverse.
@Andy: yes, it certainly does. If this really happened, it obviously shouldn't have, but Beck has spent years inciting this same kind of thinking and behavior.

The message GB gave to his attackers is exactly a self-description of himself, something very fitting given that he worked at the False News Channel.

I certainly do not condone such attacks on any person for expressing a political opinion. But people like Beck, Limbaugh, Coulter et. al. have created a climate where the act of voting for or against a candidate, or supporting a "talking head's" point of view, is no longer enough. The Bible says, "As ye sow, shall ye reap." Looks like the reaping has begun.
What you put out is going to come back to you.
And unfortunately Glenn Beck has been putting out a lot of HATE and VITROL for many years now.
It's no suprise to me that it is coming back to him.
I certainly wouldn't attack him but I certainly wouldn't of put out all the hateful crap he has over the years either.
Neither is appropriate.
