Gene Simmons' gal Shannon Tweed walks out on Joy Behar: Real or stunt?
Joy Behar teased the tense moment on "The View" earlier in the day, but when her HLN interview with Gene Simmons and longtime girlfriend Shannon Tweed finally aired in full on June 15, the awkwardness was amplified. The segment, on YouTube, is full of disagreements until a clip of Alice Cooper discussing the number of women Simmons has slept with in his life sends Tweed over the edge. She says "It's over" and walks off. But was she talking about the relationship or just the interview?
Behar seems on the fence over whether or not it was a genuine disagreement between the "Family Jewels" stars -- or a stunt for the Season 6 premiere for their reality show.
"About to air my @shannonleetweed @genesimmons interview on #HLN," she wrote on Twitter, Wednesday evening. "Was Shannon's walk-off a PR stunt or real? Your thoughts?"

I think this season's "drama" is for publicity to get more ratings. Yeah, couples have their problems, but I think this is been played up for TV.
I think the argument and the whole "it's over" drama is scripted. Gene is been doing this for years and Shannon's been OK with it. Not once have I seen her complain about the women Gene is seen in public with. Why now? I got to give them credit though cause they make it the drama seem so believable. Oscar-nominated performance. It's not over between them, I'd bet my money on it.

Gene Simmons is a legend!!! Anyway, on that note, at first I thought that it was scripted, however, as a mother and wife, I believe that she has a major issue with empty nest syndrome and is re-evaluating her life. Honestly, I would be tired of the things she puts up with, but I do understand his point of making life comfortable for his children financially, but he is pretty old and he should retire enjoy life with his family and cut Shannon's spending habits! Gene you rock, Shannon, you knew how he was before, get on with the counseling and be happy with that!
I really did think this was scripted but now I am leaning towards she really is getting sick of all the women that is around Gene. The kids are gone now she has to think about herself and well she doesnt like what she sees.
I think it's a gimmick myself but who knows? She just might finally be fed up. But like Sara B. says, Shannon knew this going in.

I don't think its a gimmick. Yes Shannon knew what he was going in, but it's not just the women. She & the kids are both tired of his obsession to make the deal, that has mads him miss important events in their lives. He's worth about $300 million, how much more does he need?!?!? I'm sure his investments will keep them all in clothes & food, he needs to spend time with his family & leave the wheeling & dealing & groupies alone!!Even Sophie told him if it came to a split, she was with Shannon, she'd still love her dad, but it didn't mean she would talk to him!! Wake up Gene!! Your way isn't working anymore!!
