Emma Watson hated her appearance: Didn't like her hair, teeth, eyebrows, ears...

emma-watson-17.jpgAnd now for a post that will make everyone feel like an ogre.

"Harry Potter" star, fashion muse, and all-around flawless human Emma Watson recently told Seventeen that she went through a phase when she didn't like the way she looked at all. "I used to beat myself up a lot about my appearance," she says. "Ever since I was 10, there has always been something I didn't like. I freaked myself out about having a receding hairline. I went through a phase where I didn't like my eyebrows. And I thought my ears stuck out and I had bad teeth."

Luckily, she's since had a change of heart. "I realized I might as well just stop constantly being at war about it and just try and let go and be positive about what is good and what I do like," she says.

She also dishes to the mag about her first crush -- which may surprise you. Hermione had a thing for Draco! Yes, Watson swooned over "Harry Potter" co-star Tom Felton in all his pale, bleached-blond glory.

"He totally knows," she says. "We talked about it--we still laugh about it. We are really good friends now, and that's cool."

Unlike the rest of us, though, Watson doesn't get knock-kneed over movie stars. At least, not the ones she hasn't met. "I've never understood having crushes on people who you don't know in real life. I only crush on people I meet. I mean, I can appreciate that someone is good-looking, obviously, but I don't intend to fantasize about people I don't know!"

Unbelievable...freakin unbelievable...

What's unbelievable? That a magazine coming out in June has back-to-school fashions? That every single headline on the cover is about how to look better than you currently do? Or that, just like every other teenage girl in the world, even the prettiest felt self-concious? Looking at that magazine cover, it's easy to understand why.
