Elisabeth Hasselbeck: Sarah Palin taking headlines from Mitt Romney
On the Thursday, June 2 episode of "The View," Elisabeth Hasselbeck gets into it about Sarah Palin (for whom Hasselbeck campaigned in 2008 when Palin was running with Senator McCain). Hasselbeck argues that Palin is dominating the headlines with her bus tour (and reinterpretations of Paul Revere's ride).
"If I had termites in my house, I'd get someone in there who could deal with it. Mitt Romney, right now, his specialty is the economy. I'd have him in there. Here's why we're not hearing it - because Sarah Palin's on a bus and right now she's manipulating, in terms of media attention," says Hasselbeck.
What do you think, Pop2it readers? Is Palin pulling all the attention on herself and away from perhaps more serious candidates for the Republican presidential nomination?

First off it was not THURS JUNE 9TH....And also Elizabeth is a very smart Intelligent Young woman, i dont agree with 90 percent of what she says but im not gonna bash her bc i dont like what she says....Grow up ppl!!!
Please...she has no idea of how the "average" american is feeling right now...let alone who is the best person to be president. Go home to your nanny and housekeeper...
I think they are all looney. Sarah PaGan is pulling headlines and being supported by the racists and bigots the Koch brothers, owners of Georgia Pacific. They want nothing more than to break unions and kill whatever the President does.
Romney is not all a genius on the economy, ask anyone in MA.
They are all a bunch of losers who are at fault for the economic situation we are in. They are republicans who allowed GW Bush to screw America for 8 years.
Where is the press about whta he did and how the republithugs who are in office are still screwing America. They voted that the oil companies could keep their subsidies while the working American is suppose dto pay for all the shorfalls in government budgets.
Get real!!!
As far as Hasselbeck is concerned, she is a drip.
I will vote for Ron Paul. He truly understands our nation is "bankrupt". Check him out online.
This is OLD NEWS (i.e. last week). What is wrong with Zap2It lately?
Mitt and other career politicians. Be aware Sarah is coming, with this country at heart not just snother "good-ole boy" deal. Lamestream media you just don't get it.
Hasselbeck makes a pretty good point. The question is: If she can get headlines talking about Romney, why can't Romney get headlines for himself?

Romney is like Robert Dole or (fellow-Mass.) Michael Dukakis. If he's nominated, he would emerge as the best alternative among uninspiring losers. And the Tea Party might well undercut him with their own candidate.
Just because he's a right-wing conservative, which I believe we need, how can middle-class America agree with Hasselback-who has a history of popping off at the mouth on issues of which she has no idea. She's rich, so oblivious, at how Mitt Romney's health care plan caused nothing but a horrendous hardship on the ppl of Massachusetts! Other than that, I'm sure I agree with a lot of his policies-but that was such a huge bone-headed move by another politician who is unaware-as is Hasselback-as to the harm he brought to the people who couldn't possibly afford his policy without causing great hardship on the average working family. Sae needs to either research how the EVERYDAY people are affected by policy-or keep her mouth shut on things of which she knows NOTHING about. She sounds like a fool.
