Demi Lovato: Break-up with Wilmer Valderrama, mom in rehab

As Demi Lovato continues her road to recovery from her eating disorder and self-destructive behavior, life continues to throw her curve balls. Lovato, 18, has ended her relationship with 31-year-old boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama, reports the New York Post. Additionally, her mother, Dianna Hart de la Garza, has checked herself into rehab.Lovato and Valderrama allegedly split because their 13-year age difference became a significant obstacle in the relationship. The pair has been dating since Lovato's release from her own rehab stint in January.
De la Garza, who is also mom to "Desperate Housewives" star Madison de la Garza, supported Lovato throughout her time in rehab. According to the Post, she was waiting for Lovato to stabilize so that she could take some time to herself and work on her own issues.
