Adele cancels remainder of U.S. tour because of laryngitis
Adele has lost her voice, and her fans in the United States will be losing out on a chance to see her live. The "Rolling in the Deep" singer has been forced to cancel the remaining nine dates of her North American tour because she has laryngitis. She had previously postponed five shows on the advice of her doctor, and after consulting with an otolaryngologist in Los Angeles, she was put on "absolute voice rest" for several weeks.
"I'm really frustrated," Adele says in a statement on her website. "I was hoping with a week's rest I'd be better to sing again straight away. However there is absolutely nothing I can do but take the doctor's advice and rest some more. I'm so sorry. See you soon, love Adele."
Adele was scheduled to do a show in San Francisco on Saturday (June 4), with dates in Los Angeles, San Diego, Austin, Dallas, Atlanta, Asheville, N.C., and Nashville to follow. All of the shows were sold out. Her site says plans to reschedule the canceled shows "are being investigated," but there's no concrete information yet.

whew, glad i saw her in Denver last week. best concert i've ever been to.
Hummm, are you thinking what I'm thinking? Maybe Haley Reinhart can take over!
What! That's ridiculous! She has to start her tour in July.
Maybe she should try to reduce the odds of such outcomes and give up smoking.
