Adam Lambert, James Durbin end 'feud' over Twitter
Stop the presses: "American Idol" alums Adam Lambert and James Durbin have ended their feud.The Season 8 runner-up and Season 10 third runner-up's kerfuffle began when Lambert told THR that he was "kind of over" Durbin and said the heavy metal rocker had "talent and passion 100 percent but... he's trying way too hard." After he was eliminated, Durbin responded to Lambert's remarks, saying, "I was nothing more than nice to that guy and, you know, he decided to take it to a different level. So, whatever."
On Sunday, June 5, Durbin tweeted Lambert, "Hey dude! Id really enjoy grabbing some lunch with you and just talking about all this Idol/Post Idol stuff! I could really use...Some one on one advice. Regardless of any supposed bad blood, Im calling truce :) Anyway.thats me. Glad your tour is goin great. Direct message me if this is something that you might be interested in doing. Thanks for the consideration!"
Soon after, Lambert responded, "haha why don't we just go ahead and discuss it right now over twitter? I'd be honored to advise... :) #nobadblood." Then, the following conversation (which we enjoyed almost too much) occurred:
Durbin: "Well as much as they'd love it..just as u don't wanna spoil ur album, I don't wanna spoil anything lol...you understand right?"
Lambert: "Oh I definitely understand."
Durbin: "Just think about it. If youre free, hit me up. Im just not the "twitter business meeting" type. thanks anyway, brother. :-/ I'll be in the LA area all month..you know the deal :)"
Lambert: "ok :)."
Did Twitter just play witness to the beginning of a Lambert/Durbin bromance? At the very least, a truce has been called. When Durbin's fans started tweeting him about his Twitter conversation with Lambert, he tweeted, ""Durbinators! You know my intentions are good! I just wanna sit down w/ a fellow musician & talk about the business But twitters the only way...To ask that musician."

I knew there was a reason why I like both these young men! Kudos to James for calling BS on the media-trumped up bad blood, and very proud of Adam for accepting as the gracious young man he is!

Aw Adam is such a sweetheart. I think calling it a "feud" is a bit much, but whatever I'm glad both Adam and James let their fans know that there is no bad blood or anything like that between them. They're both talented guys and I wish them the best of luck in the future.
There was no feud to begin with, just James running his mouth. Which he continues to do..
James has already moved on to a new bromance. Chris Daughtry has apparently offered to advise Idol's youngest rocker.
The feud lived only in Durbins head. He did some more tweeting saying that Chris Daughtry is coming to the rescue, so I guess he doesn't need to have lunch with Adam anymore!! He also said chris and him will gel better because they are both christian and have families!! But, then he tweeted that he never mentioned asking Adam for advice in his tweets. I'm sorry, this guy doesn't know what he is saying from one minute to the next.
James just keeps invoking Adam's name to get articles just like yours, but who cares. Adam does not embroil himself in melodrama, thank God. Now James has moved on to a more Christian ex-Idol, Chris Daughtery so maybe things will calm down when Chris explains it's all about the music and the music business. If the music doesn't cut it, it's back to playing the VFW, no matter who you are.
James needs to find his own way and not involve other artist in his melodrama. He is too needy and drags others into unnecessary drama.
The "fued" existed only in the press and with James. He is trying to get attention by bringing Adam into his drama. Guy needs to get his career going and leave Adam alone. Why would Adam even care about some dude who doesn't even have a contract yet? And nobody with any common sense thinks James is going to come close to achieving what Adam has. No story here.
i love adam and like james,i thought james knew who he is an artist but ithink he get advised by producers that hes way not working on radio so hes getting advise from daughtry and adam the famouse ones for hes album.
adam pologised on hes twitter when fued started,i think james want to know secret success of daughtry how to make millions.i love adam ,i hope he gave us hes best on second album and awsome album cover.
