Stevie Nicks cancels performances due to pneumonia
Stevie Nicks should be celebrating the release of her highly anticipated new CD "In You Dreams," on May 3. Instead, she'll be stuck in bed.Nicks was scheduled to perform at an event thrown in her honor in New York on Wednesday, May 4, but had to cancel due to coming down with pneumonia and the flu, PR Newswire reports. Nicks also had to cancel appearances on the "Today Show" and "Good Day New York."
Nicks' doctor has ordered her to stay in bed and not fly until she recovers. "I want to apologize to all my fans and hope that we can reschedule," Nicks says. "Of course I hope you love the new album. It's for you."
"In Your Dreams" is Nicks' first album in over a decade and Rolling Stone says "it's her finest collection of songs since the Eighties."
