Sienna Miller earns $165,000 in hacking case agreement

sienna-miller-gi.jpgSienna Miller and The News of the World have come to an agreement.

The actress sued the British tabloid, alleging that they hacked into her mobile phone. The News of the World has admitted that its journalists tapped into the voicemail systems of multiple celebrities, including Miller's step-mother Kelly Hoppen and sports commentator Andy Gray.

According to the AP, Miller will be paid 100,000 pounds ($165,000) and full details of the privacy invasion will be revealed to her.

The newspaper's lawyers say that they are pleased the case is being concluded. Though the battle isn't over yet, as there are still many other allegations still being litigated and several of the paper's journalists have been arrested.

Hugh Grant got a bit of revenge all on his own, by publishing an undercover interview with one of the former news execs, Paul McMullan.
