Selena Gomez angers Pink with pink ponies
Selena Gomez just might be the very last pop princess we'd expect to anger fellow celebs (Unless they're Beliebers, of course).Outspoken pop rocker Pink was up in arms on Thursday (May 19), after learning that Gomez was including pink ponies in her latest music video, "Love You Like a Love Song."
"If there are any animal activists around Malibu -- at Leo Cabrillo State beach, there are horses being painted for a stupid music video. Shame," Pink tweeted.
"Whether u r a fan of mine or whomEVER's, I won't stop speaking out about animal cruelty. I've taken responsibility in the past, so should she," the animal advocate continued on Friday.
Team Gomez maintains that there was no foul play and reassures fans that all proper measures were taken.
"It was important to the Production Company, Record Label and Ms. Gomez that no animals were harmed and all proper precautions were taken," her rep tells People. "A non toxic, vegetable based powder paint was applied via an airbrush and removed with water. An official from the Humane Society was on set supervising."

Pink had an emotional response, it's the "in" thing for everybody to do lately. I reacted a little skepitcal too, but when you are given the facts and none of them go on to state any potential harm to the animal...then what is the issue?

It doesn't sound like the animals were harmed. But with technology these days, they could have painted the images of the ponies in post production on the computer. Would have cost a bit more, but I think Salena's lable could have afforded that.

She didn't over react as she thought the situation to be- it seems like she didn't have all of her facts together first so I think Selena wins this one- Sorry Pink, I'm a fan but can't be with you on this one. I would be if the facts were different

Sounds like Pink may be jealous she didn't think of it first. Maybe Pink should mind her own business instead of trying to incite animal activists.
Maybe the hormonal changes involved with her pregnancy caused Pink to over react before getting all the details. She could have just picked up the phone and called them rather than attacking a young person in the press. Selena Gomez is a very positive role model for young people and there is no reason to be attacking her.
I think yal who don't agree with pink are mad! If Selena is really talented and what not I'm sure she can live without a pink ponie and even if it wasn't harmful it's ridiculous and unnecessary ! Pink is a role model for a real world unlike the pretty good girl image!
