Sean Kingston injured in jet ski accident, rushed to hospital

"Beautiful Girls" singer Sean Kingston has been rushed to a Miami area hospital after being seriously injured in a jet ski accident. The 21-year-old was riding a jet ski around 6 p.m. on Sunday night when he crashed into a bridge.

The bridge connects Palm Island, a private residential island accessible only by bridge, to the MacArthur Causeway.

Kingston and his female passenger were rushed to the Jackson Memorial Hospital where he remains in critical condition. TMZ reports that he had to be treated in the trauma ward. His rep released a statement, ""Sean Kingston was in an accident today. No further details are available at the moment. He and his family thank everyone for the well-wishes."

The cause of the crash is still under investigation, but early reports say that alcohol was not involved.
