Sandra Bernhard disses Kathy Griffin's comedy: 'I like to keep it more intellectual'
There's nothing we like better than a girl fight between two tough women who can hold their own. So, when Sandra Bernhard decides to take a swipe at fellow comedian Kathy Griffin, we love having a front row seat.
"I think Kathy studied me in the early days," she tells Popeater. "She borrowed a little bit. I think Kathy would be the first to admit. I know she was a big admirer of mine."
"But, you know, I didn't take it to that place," she continues. "I like to keep it a little more intellectual. I just don't like to take it down to the obvious. It's not me. I was raised on sophistication."

Neither..both are hateful bullies picking on kids and people they disagree with...just to further their careers.
Kathy is a gigantic bully and a terrible person for anyone to admire. Now that we have all of these anti-bullying campaigns, she should be the first to be called out for her disgusting, hateful "comedy."
Kathy is not a bully - she's simply calling people on all of their ridiculousness. People today are way too self-involved - Kathy is simply knocking people off their high horses and they all deserve it. Sandra is jealous that Kathy is now a huge star and so she's trying to insert herself into something she really has nothing to do with... it smacks of desperation.
Sandra, I hate to break it to you but people don't know you as a comedian. People know you for hanging onto Madonna and Roseanne in a desperate attempt to make yourself famous. BTW how did that work out for you?

I find neither one funny!!! When other comics did so called distasteful material; They were labeled as bigoted and misogynistic and many mainstream comics did PC routines.
