'Real Housewives of NYC's' Ramona Singer: Jill Zarin 'loves to exaggerate' her wealth
"The Real Housewives of New York's" Ramona Singer appeared on Thursday's (May 27) episode of "Watch What Happens: Live" and fans voted her the No. 1 housewife who should have her passport taken away after the show's first episode in Morocco.
And the truth is she deserved the title. From her constant complaining on the car ride from the airport about the country's dust and poverty to asking the service to help her unpack her bags, Ramona could have been, well, a little less "Ramotional" while in Morocco. Though, she says cast mate and the trip's organizer, LuAnn de Lesseps, set her up.
"LuAnn tried to make me seem rude," Ramona says on the show. "What happened was she said, 'Dahling, dahling, we have all this staff that will do anything for you.' I go, 'Great, I could use some help unpacking my bags,' because I had packed a s**tload of clothing because she didn't tell me what to pack."
Nice try, Ramona, but you have two arms, diva.
But, it was what Jill Zarin said about her own friend, Brad, that really got Ramona (and lots of viewers) steamed. Jill had told Brad she'd be in Morocco, since he supposedly owns a home there. But once she arrived at a party at his "home," Jill told the cameras that Brad was lying and that the place was actually a Bed and Breakfast Inn he was passing off as his own. Was that necessary, Jill?
Ramona didn't think so and thought Jill should be the last person to talk about someone else exaggerating their wealth.
"Jill loves to exaggerate," Ramona says. "You know she sold her house four years ago and she pretended on the show that she owned the house. She rented it. She pretended she owned a yellow Ferrari and she rented it for one week and said, 'Oh, Bobby bought it for me.'"
Busted, Jill. Lesson here? Don't throw stones...

Ramona is an embarrassment. She's pushing 60 and she acts like a lunatic.

What keeps Ramona's husband with her? All the RHONYC are annoying & I'm almost done with them, as I am with RHONJ- the last episode sealed the deal for me, but Ramona takes the cake. "Where's my Pinot" everywhere she goes, her totally rude, obnoxious, arrogant behavior....& those eyes drive me crazy. And why are these shows called Real Housewives? On RHONYC there are what, only 3 married women out of 7? It's not even about their livestyles anymore, it's all about fighting. I've had enough. When I sit down to watch nighttime programming I want to be amused not disgusted. Time to find something else Bravo. You should pay Kathy Griffin whatever it takes to bring back My Life On The "D" List. That's a funny & entertaining show!!
I gave up on all these series except for OC. It's the only one i can stand anymore.
I totally agree about being sick of Ramona's entitled
behavior. Everyone is beneath her and should wait
on her. It's all about what she wants, no matter
who has to be inconvenienced. She's over 50 trying
to act like she's 20 something and it is NOT attractive.
Bravo, please consider writing her phony self out
of this show or you are going to lose a lot of people
who are so very tired of her rude self.
They are all annoying, self-absorbed, petty, egotistical, snotty, two faced witches. Ramona is really getting on my nerves and Sonja is just disgusting. Ramona has had more than her share of Botox and Pinot. I feel sorry for her husband and daughter.
Out of all the housewives i hate jill and luann the most.Two face *******. Jill talks bad about her so call friends behind thier back. With a friend like Jill who needs enemys. Damn.
Ramona needs to go. She's so unattractive in every way that it's a chore to watch her.
The fortune teller was right. I watch the show because of Jill Zarin who is my favorite, she's a decent person who needs to curb her gossip. But her hearts in the right place, and I remember from Season one how generous she was to Bethanny and Alex.
Bravo told the NY wives to "mean up" for the ratings after the success of the NJ and Atlanta wives with their brawls and bullying. The NY show changed after that and became a bad imitation of those other cities. New York should be true to itself and not stoop so low.
I'VE THOUGHT MANY TIMES, IF RAMONA ISN'T STRUGGLING WITH ALCOHOL ISSUES, BRAVO SURE IS PAINTING HER IN THAT LIGHT. IT'S SO HARD TO TELL, BUT SHE'S NEVER WITHOUT A DRINK OR ASKING FOR ONE. SHE'S VERY DIFFERENT THIS YEAR. PERHAPS BRAVO DID TELL THEM TO "MEAN UP." WHO KNOW? BUT, IT'S NOT WORKING AT ALL.
I READ THE RECAPS BUT STOPPED WATCHING THIS ONE. IT'S OLD AND BORING AND MORE OF THE SAME. OTHER THAN ALEX, I THINK THEY'RE ALL NUTS. JILL GETS CAUGHT IN FAR TOO MANY LIES TO BE EVEN SLIGHTLY BELIEVABLE. CINDY DOESN'T SEEM TO FIT. SONJA IS BAT S*** CRAZY AND HAS NO DEGREE OF INTROSPECTION. KELLY IS CALMER, BUT OFTEN TIMES STILL MAKES NO SENSE. IT'S REALLY A TRAIN WRECK. SO, SO GLAD BETHENNY ISN'T ON THIS ANYMORE!
I agree most with Singer - the show is dead because it's too fake and humiliating without cause. It's like a cartoon, especially watching Alex.
This total bore is a Bethenny wannabe who thinks that attacking Jill will somehow bring her $$$. She and her husband both lost their jobs because of this show and they're not going anywhere in trying to imitate Bethenny's coup de grace. I feel sorry for these naive losers.
They aren't the first Bravo losers and won't be the last.
