Rachel McAdams, Michael Sheen confirm relationship, Surprise no one

We had a pretty good idea this was coming, but now it's official.

Michael Sheen confirms that he and "Midnight in Paris" co-star Rachel McAdams are an item at the Cinema Society & Thierry Mugler New York screening of their new film.

"Yeah, we are together,' the actor tells People. Adding, "She's talented, intelligent, beautiful. She's warm and friendly. She's very supportive, and very kind, very funny. She makes me laugh a lot."

"I don't think it was planned one way or the other," McAdams adds of their decision to go public with the romance. "He's a fantastic actor. One of the best," she continues.

This is not necessarily a love-on-the-set instance, however. The lovebirds actually didn't become involved until after filming had wrapped. Something that Sheen admits he did not see coming.

The duo has been linked since the fall, but decided to hit the Cannes red carpet last week on each others arms. Aww.
