Oprah Winfrey's interview with President Obama 'dated' after Osama bin Laden's death, she says
When at first it was a coup that Oprah Winfrey landed President Barack Obama for one of her final shows, Sunday's (May 1) news of Osama bin Laden's death had the media queen worried.
"[The show] will feel dated because we taped last week," Oprah tweeted about the interview that aired Monday (May 3). "Not even a hint of Osama's demise. Still happy to have them on."
"We knew breaking news could date us," she later writes. "Never expected bin Laden."
Obama did speak of the birth certificate controversy and his plan to run again in 2012, though Oprah may be regretting that she didn't ask him about the decade-long hunt for bin Laden.
After all, Oprah isn't used to being scooped, "Trying to decide what to do about tomorrow's show with Prez that was taped last week," she worries late at night on Sunday.
In the end, Oprah decided to run the episode as originally edited with a "previously recorded" disclaimer.

I quit watching Oprah the first time she had Obama on her show and practically drooled on him with her devotion. I know she does lots of good things for some people but I could not tolerate seeing that. She is a woman of great influence who put an inexperienced unknown in the highest office in the land just by endorsing him the way she did. It was irresponsible. Oh and yes I'm sure it breaks her heart that I don't tune in anymore. (Sarcasm) Happy retirement Oprah.
Well it's not surprising that the only people that have commented thus far have offered negative comments. You know what is so funny is that Trump unleashed a war against our president based on...based on....NOTHING. Oh wait I take that back he led an attack on Obama based on his own Republican capitalistic, and discrimination agenda. Obama having to release his birth certificate was unprecedented and a discrimination tactic. Osama Bin Laden was found by our president and yet none of you can even laud that accomplishment. How about if you don't like what's going on then move!

Meaning, he will stand with those being discriminated against. Hardly has the same meaning now that it's in context.
To OprahWho...You are completely wrong on that front. Oprah did not endorse him prior to his winning the election. If you had actually watched the show..you would know that Oprah was really careful during the election not to endorse anyone until after the election was over. But your assumption was possibly a little racially biased because inherently you thought since she is black, she will endorse a black senator from Chicago who is running....and regardless...it is her American right to state who she is supporting or nor supporting just like you behind your tiny little computer, in your tiny little home and behind your tiny little brain.
