Lauren Alaina on 'Tonight' to Piers Morgan: Tried out for 'America's Got Talent' and was rejected. Twice.

Google"American Idol" Season 10 runner-up Lauren Alaina stopped by "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" Thursday night (May 26) to chat about her time on the show and what she's doing moving forward. She also got into it a bit with fellow guest Piers Morgan - because his show "America's Got Talent" rejected her.
Piers tells her he thought she should have won because she's better than Scotty and she busts out with, "I tried out for your show and didn't make it. Twice ... I didn't make it past the first round." Haha! It really does seem like a very funny impromptu moment. The video is below, it's the second half of Lauren's interview.
Lauren also talks about her vocal problems the day of the finale and the rumor that Haley might have replaced her. "At no point did I think I wasn't gonna go out there, but apparently they did pull Haley and ask her if she could and she said no, thank goodness," says Lauren.
Lauren also addresses the "dating Scotty" rumors, "No .... we're just like really good friends. Everybody wants us to like each other, but we just can't do it."

I love Carry Underwoods talent and voted for her, but those cut off shorties were pretty tacky in my opinion, especially when every body else is dressed like a million bucks. Nice legs though.
