Lady Gaga's 'The Edge of Glory' drops online. Is it glorious?

The latest single from Lady Gaga's forthcoming album "Born This Way" has been released online, and it has "summer anthem" written all over it.We can hear "The Edge of Glory" being played at countless proms and graduation parties in the coming weeks, even if that's not the strictest interpretation of the lyrics. Gaga herself has said she was moved to write the song after her grandfather died last year, and that it's about "the moment before you leave earth."
However you choose to read the lyrics, though, "The Edge of Glory" is the type of sing-at-the-top-of-your-lungs song that can become ubiquitous as the weather heats up.

I like it a lot! It's very 80s, but in all the right ways. I love the vibe it has, and the sax somehow manages to fit in perfectly with the synths. It's like multiple genres of 80s anthemic music combined. How interesting that it's about one's "final moments" too. I don't think I've ever heard a song about passing on that's so positive and uplifting. Gaga's great, but I definitely didn't see this coming!

After a wild concert on HBO, then she blows us out with a sax solo, fabulous....I already have here New CD on order, Can't wait to get the whole CD...its going to be a hot summer with Lady GAGA, put you paws up...peace
