Kim Kardashian, Kris Humphries celebrate engagement with family vacation

Shockingly no, it's not the over-sized Kardashian-Jenner brood jetting off for a little celebration. Kim Kardashian is joining fiance Kris Humphries' family for some quality time before the circus that will be "royal wedding number two" gets underway.

The duo hit Monaco on Thursday (May 26) along with the rest of the Humphries clan. It's no coincidence that Kim will be joining the vacay as the future Mrs. Humphries -- the New Jersey Nets star tells People he planned it that way.

"I wanted to propose before the trip so we could really spend some quality time together with my family as a couple," he explains. "I planned it out this way."

"We're celebrating... on a family vacation with them," Kardashian adds.

The duo expects to make it official next summer, and will spend as much time together as possible before the future groom begins his fall basketball season.
