Kelly Brook and Thom Evans confirm miscarriage five months into pregnancy

Kelly Brook, a British model who you may recognize from the pages of Maxim or from her turn in last summer's gross-out fest "Piranha 3-D," has confirmed some very sad news today. Her rep tells The Sun that Brook has suffered a miscarriage. "I can confirm that Kelly and Thom have very sadly lost their baby. They request that everyone please respects their privacy at this very painful time," says the statement.
Thom Evans, the father of Brook's baby who she began dating in late 2010, is a well known rugby star. Two months ago, Brook announced her pregnancy via Twitter, confirming that the baby is a girl.
Friends say that Brook is devastated and is at home as Thom and her mother take care of her. Just last week Brook and Evans were spotted by paparazzi enjoying a stroll in London looking happy and healthy. Brook was named #60 on Maxim's Hot 100 this year.
