Justin Bieber covers 'Come Home': Listen to his version of Ernie Halter's song

When we think of Justin Bieber, we think of dance-friendly radio hits... not necessarily coffeehouse singer-songwriter tunes. On Thursday morning, Bieber proved us wrong, tweeting a link to his cover of "Come Home," by Orange County singer-songwriter Ernie Halter.

Just before he posted the song, Bieber tweeted Halter a message: "@erniehalter come home to me is such a great song. i thought i would do a little something with it."

Halter was flattered. "@justinbieber Wow! Thank you. You sounded great singing our song. Talking with co-writer @lisagoe and we're both so honored!"

Honored all the way to the bank. We're guessing that Halter's under-the-radar days are over, and Bieb's cover will likely lead to a major surge in Halter's iTunes sales. Listen to his version on YouTube after checking out Bieber's above.
