Jeff Conaway in a coma after overdose: 'Grease' actor found unconscious
On the heels of the news of Zsa Zsa Gabor having fallen into a coma, we've got another sad story. Jeff Conaway, best known as Kenickie in musical phenom "Grease," has also slipped into a coma following a possible overdose.Initial reports said that the actor was hospitalized during a bout of pneumonia, but a rep confirms that his condition is more serious than that. "He is unresponsive at this time. He turned his head two days ago, but nothing since," the manager tells E!, remaining mum regarding on what drug Conaway overdosed.
Conaway, 60, was found unconscious on May 11 and is currently in critical condition at an Encino hospital.
Though Conaway shot to fame in 1978 as Kenickie, his career floundered in the '80s and '90s, largely due to his substance abuse problem. He was recently on the pop culture radar for his consecutive stints on "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew." Unfortunately, Conaway was unsuccessful in staying sober.

Wishing Jeff Conaway peace and truth. He was a talent. Supposedly he beat the drug thing back in 2008 when John Travolta was saying Scientology helped him. BLESSING TO YOU JEFF. So sad!!
Come on Jeff Conaway!! You can pull through and beat this thing. BLESSINGS!
Sad. He was such a talented man and it is just so sad that he can't beat his addictions. I was in an accident and ruined my back so I know how hard it is to get past the pain and the pills to get your life back. I hope he beas the odds and comes around, then I hope he beats the addictions and can be healthy and happy. It would be great to see him working again. I know I'd watch!
prey that not only does jeff recover, but that he recovers from his drug dependency. Nobody but Dr. Drew has been there for Jeff until now. Pull through Jeff, you still have alot to offer. I wish this didn't happen, and if he dies, it is just another tradgedy, but if he lives, lets continue to support him in complete recovery, it may have had to come to this to show him how close he came, I hope that's the story, I don't want to read about him dying. Thanks kenike, and my favorite show is Taxi.
