'Hangover Part 3' in the works: Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, Ed Helms not signed yet

hangover-ii-opening.jpgAfter taking in more than $137 million dollars over the Memorial Day weekend it doesn't come as much of a surprise that the "Hangover" franchise has already been given the go-ahead for a third installment.

According to The Wrap, screenwriter Craig Mazin -- who co-wrote the second movie -- is on board to write the third installment.

It's still early days, though. None of the franchise's main stars -- Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis or Ed Helms -- have signed on for a third round yet, reports Deadline.com. The same goes for director Todd Phillips.

We just hope Crystal the monkey -- one of our favorite big-screen primates -- will be back.

they need to do one with the wives that would be hilarious

Too much of a good thing...

I hope they bring back heather graham. I really want her and Stu to meet again.

They should have found a new writer...Part II was terribly unfunny.

Wow...will they write the same script AGAIN like they did with part 2 and put it in NYC this time? This is going to wind up as useless as the Sex In The City films if they continue on like this...the entire sequel was the first film but in a different location.
