'Glee's' Matthew Morrison to join New Kids on the Block/Backstreet Boys summer tour

With the season finale of "Glee" quickly approaching, Matthew Morrison -- who plays glee club adviser Mr. Schue -- is lining up a busy summer for himself.

On Tuesday's (May 17) "Good Morning America," Morrison announced his plans to join the New Kids on the Blook/Backstreet Boys summer tour.

"It'll be fun," Morrison told "GMA's" Robin Roberts. "Playing some arenas and stuff."

Morrison recently released his first, self-titled solo album. But he should be right at home on tour with two of music's biggest boy bands of yesteryear. In 2001, Morrison was recruited to join the quartet LMNT, though he was replaced before the group's first (forgettable) album was released.
