'Fright Night' trailer: Colin Farrell joins the vampire craze
Colin Farrell as a vampire! Anton Yelchin as a vampire hunter! A vampire movie where the vampire is actually evil! McLovin! Those are just a few of the reasons we're excited for "Fright Night," a remake of the 1985 horror comedy. IGN just debuted the trailer and we've got to say, it looks pretty good. And by pretty good, we mean pretty awesome.
Farrell looks like he's having a blast (plus, he looks scary and hot) as Jerry the vampire ("That is a terrible vampire name. Jerry?") and "Fright Night" could just be the breakout movie for up-and-comer Yelchin. Imogen Poots stars as Charley's (Yelchin) girlfriend and Toni Collette plays his mother. David Tennant takes on the Peter Vincent role but we only get a brief glimpse of him in the trailer.
What do you think, Zappers? Are you interested in seeing "Fright Night," which hits theaters on Aug. 19?

Snooze. they did away with practically everything. Jerry seems straight-up evil, no ambiguity here. Once again Marti Noxon proves that she's a terrible writer.
Yup. Looks awesome.
