Faith Evans files for divorce from Todd Russaw

Since Diddy Swag is in the news Friday (May 20), we think it only fitting to report on one of his former proteges. Faith Evans, who was the first female artist to sign a contract with Bad Boy Entertainment back in the '90s, filed for divorce from her husband of 13 years, Todd Russaw.

Russaw is a record company executive and had been serving as Evans' manager up to this point. The couple have two children together: Joshua, born in 1998, and Ryder Evan, born in 2007.

According to TMZ, the divorce petition claims the two separated in 2005. Which sounds a bit off considering the 2007 birth of their second son.

In 2004, the couple was arrested in Atlanta and charged with possession of marijuana and cocaine. They both spent 13 (there's that number again) weeks in a drug treatment program.

Evans was previously married to Biggie Smalls, who was gunned down in 1997.
