Darren Criss and Jensen Ackles: Straight guys gay guys love

AfterElton's annual Hot 100 List has a new face at the top! "Glee's" Darren Criss is #1 on the list, voted on by frequenters of the gay men's site, after he didn't even rank on the site last year. (We know; we can't believe his Harry Potter YouTube videos didn't make more of an impact, either.)"Given the popularity of 'Glee,' his making The AfterElton Hot 100 was probably a given," the site writes. "But even we didn't expect him to rocket to the number one spot, the first time a newcomer has debuted at the very top."
Criss and "Supernatural" star Jensen Ackles are the only straight guys in AfterElton's Top 10. Criss has said that as a teenager he had to "come out" as straight to his musical theater friends. "I had to come out and say, well, I'm sorry, but I think I'm straight," he told Vanity Fair. "I would say, 'It's been a secret too long, but I'm actually a straight male.'"
Ackles, who ranked #14 last year, comes in at #8 this year. (His "Supernatural" co-stars, Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins, rank at #16 and #40 respectively.) He recently celebrated his one-year wedding anniversary with actress Danneel Harris.

An addendum needs to be made to this article.
The poll was open to more than just gay and bisexual men to vote, so it may not be an accurate indication of what gay and bisexual men find hot, at least the top positions anyway.
A lot of gleek fangirls found this poll and really pushed for Darren Criss, many of them selecting him for all of their ten possible nominations.
Thanks for marginalizing the list by highlighting the two 'straight' actors in the top ten.
Then that would mean that ADAM LAMBERT is the #1 Hottest GAY Man in the WORLD!!! GO ADAM!! CONGRATS!!
First, even if they did put his name in as the only person, it would have only counted 1 time towards Darren. It very clearly states that in the rules that you couldn't "stack" the votes.
Second. When did Anderson Cooper come out? By his not officially being out, that makes him a 3rd non-gay person in the top 10.
I agree w/ Jeff, you can't mention Anderson Cooper when he hasn't "declared" whether he is or isn't gay.

Three Glee guys on the list and they all deserve it. Darren Criss is so sweet and sexy, Chris Colfer is such an inspiration, and Jonathon Groff...well, he has an amazing voice and I died when I saw him in SA.
But this year Afterelton opened it up to straight women soo its not exactly accurate. I believe if they (we) had not been able to vote the results would have differed.
Chris Colfer is personally my #1 as much as I adore Darren.
