Congressmen Anthony Weiner: Lewd photo sent to 21-year-old woman on Twitter via hacker, he says

On Saturday, Congressman Anthony Weiner's (D-NY) Twitter account shocked followers when it appeared that he had tweeted a lewd photo of a man, taken from the waist down, and sent it to the Twitter account of 21-year-old Gennette Nicole Cordova, a college student in Seattle.The photo was deleted immediately. A spokesman for the New York representative says the tweet was sent by a hacker, though offered no further explanation in terms of how or why. Weiner himself tweeted, "Touche Prof Moriarity. More Weiner Jokes for all my guests! #Hacked!"
Cordova says that ever since the rep decided to follow her on Twitter, she's received anonymous harassment messages from an unknown person. She also says she never saw the photo in question. "There have never been any inappropriate exchanges between Anthony Weiner and myself, including the tweet/picture in question, which had apparently been deleted before it reached me," she says.
Because of Weiner's job, a Twitter hack would constitute a federal crime and it wouldn't be out of the ordinary for the FBI to investigate, but no announcement of such an investigation has been launched. Some bloggers speculate that Weiner did send the photo intentionally, but he meant for it to be a direct message, not a public tweet. Others question why a Congressman is following a college-aged girl on Twitter to begin with.

I know Congressman Weiner. He was my Congressman for years until I left Queens. He would never do something so stupid. He's very ambitious and would never do something that would ruin his chances at becoming Mayor and from what I remember of him, he's one of the few honest politicians out there as well as one of the few who cares enough to take a few minutes out of his time to speak to a constituent who stops him on the street about an issue they've had on their minds. If Anthony says it was a hacker, then I believe him.
Weiner thought he sent it to her privately instead it when sent it had public access.
He didn't report any hack because an investigation would prove no hack took place.

Hackers have gone after politicians before, so I believe him. He has shown himself to be a great and honest politician.
Hacking is a FEDERAl Crime and the FBI is not involved making Weiner a LYING DIKK. The MSM is already bending over backwards spinning the scandal.

The FBI is not investigating because he is a liar and it happened. The guy needs to resign, like the other idiot from New York who sent inappropriate emails to a subordinate.Why is it when a republican does something stupid they immediately resign. The democrats like Rangel and Weiner just slither back down further into the mud they live in at our expense. I hope this sleezeball resigns and that the people there can get a decent congressman who can at least listen to two sides rather than licking Obama's socialist bootstraps- gee, I bet Wiener likes that too on a boring Sat. nite.

It appears the the media is, again, two standards when it comes to their "First Amendment Rights". At least Lee was MAN enough to admit his error, but I really doubt this Weiner guy has no morals nor honor to follow suit.
Isn't Weiner's failure to report a crime is a crime in itself? Since it involves an "elected" Governement official.
The DOJ should investigate this matter as boldly as they have on Arizona's Immigration laww,(oh! Forgot! Weiner is a protected class, A SOCIALIST..
