Cannes: Mel Gibson, Jodie Foster walk 'The Beaver' red carpet

Despite a slow opening in the U.S., a star-studded crew was on hand for the premiere of Mel Gibson's latest movie, "The Beaver," at Cannes.

While the film has scored some positive reviews, its been largely overshadowed by Gibson's off-screen behavior in the form of a nasty custody dispute (and accompanying taped phone conversations) with ex Oksana Grigorieva.

Co-star/director/BFF Jodie Foster was also on hand at the Tuesday (May 17) event black tie event. The next day, Foster and Gibson reunited for a more casual photo call.
