Bryan Adams, Alicia Grimaldi welcome baby Mirabella Bunny Adams

Bryan Adams and the co-founder of his organization and girlfriend Alicia Grimaldi have welcomed a baby girl, they tell People. The baby came on April 22, which was Good Friday, and so the little bundle of joy is named Mirabella Bunny.

"She arrived like all good Easter bunnies on Easter Friday," says Adams. "Mother and baby are both well and happy. Thanks in advance for your kind thoughts and wishes."

The Canadian rocker, 51, met Alicia through the aforementioned "Bryan Adams Foundation," which "seeks to protect the most vulnerable or disadvantaged individuals in society. It aims particularly to advance education and learning opportunities for children and young people worldwide, believing that an education is the best gift that a child can be given," according to the website.

The foundation is primarily funded by Adams' photography efforts. The musician has had photography exhibits all over the world, dating back to 1999. Huh. We were not aware of that.

So congratulations to Bryan, Alicia and Mirabella Bunny.

Our only thought is - would this apply to other holiday births? If she was born on the second Monday in October, would she be Mirabella Turkey?
