Bristol Palin: 'Not plastic surgery, ... corrective jaw surgery'
There has been much speculation about Bristol Palin's "new" face, as the reality TV and "Dancing With the Stars" star fell off the radar a bit recently, only to reemerge in the public eye with a sharper jawline and pointier chin.Plastic surgery? Or just weight loss? Zap2it made arguments for both.
But Palin has now told US Weekly that she did not have plastic surgery, she had "corrective jaw surgery."
"Yes, it improved the way I look, but this surgery was necessary for medical reasons...so my jaw and teeth could properly realign...I don't obsess over my face," the 20-year-old says of her procedure. "I am absolutely thrilled with the results. I look older, more mature, and don't have as much of a chubby little baby face!"

Based on the pictures, it doesn't seem like much--really, just the effect I'd expect if she'd lost some weight and it is reflected in her face. It's not like we're talking Jennifer Grey level changes here.
she looks gud,was she tannin b4,cuz she looks lighter as well.all n all she is a pretty girl.
i think the shade of the hair just did the trick.. she didn't lose that much wait...
Do any of you people know how to spell? Elementary school is waiting for you to come back.
she only lost five pounds... as a dentist I can you her teeth were aligned before and her jaw was fine so this excuse is garbage...
Nothing will change the ugliness of what's inside.
Looks like she got her mother's gift for slanting the truth to suit her needs.
I'm so sure that the jaw surgery was medically necessary to align her teeth??? WTF?
Why can't she just admit she wanted the plastic surgery. There is nothing wrong with it. It's a free country. But, instead, she has to lie.
Um, Bristol.....Pay attention to your mother. When you lie, you have to be more careful. See, you were quoted to say that you don't obscess about your face, and then the next sentence out of your mouth was that now you "don't have as much of a chubby little baby face!"
I had corrective jaw surgery to fix my bite when I was a teen. While no fan of Bristol's this is not something to scoff at or write off as a vanity. As I was told, "You're fine now but if you don't fix it it'll be a major issue when you're 30." While the difference in my appearance was not dramatic there was a change. Specifically, I suddenly had a dimple.
looks like she had a chin implant...don't really see the big deal
