Alicia Silverstone names new baby: Bear Blu

Alicia Silverstone, best known for her role in 1995's "Clueless," gave birth to her first child on May 5. The actress and her husband, Christopher Jarecki, welcomed a son who weighed in at a healthy 7lbs 15oz.

And the name: Umm, "Bear Blu."

According to Reuters, Silverstone had a water birth at an unspecified Los Angeles facility.

We have no idea what the significance of the name is. And although it does conjure up images of the Grateful Dead and Tidy Bowl, we're sure little Bear will make it his own.

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon, who welcomed twins last week, named their new additions "Monroe" and "Moroccan Scott."
