Alex Pettyfer's crotch is not thankful; Loves Los Angeles
Think you know Alex Pettyfer's scandalous crotch tattoo? Think again. The Brit tells E! Online that the now infamous ink that he previously joked reads "Thank You" just below the belt line (In case he forgets to say it) is totally not what you think.
"You know everyone thinks it says 'Thank you,'" he laughs. "It says my name, 'Alex.' It's boring." Adding, "He [the writer of the story] said that, not me."
Which begs the question -- Who the heck tattoos their own name on their private parts?! That's not even boring, it's just weird. This is not news to us at Zap2it, however. We called his bluff back in April when the story first broke.
After expressing his distaste for the city of Los Angeles by calling it a "s*** hole" and "socially disgusting," Pettyfer now says he's been misunderstood.
"I love New York," he responds when asked how the two entertainment capitals compare. "I love L.A., too. I love both places." Clarifying his previous comments with: "I don't think I was so much misquoted but misunderstood."
"The most misunderstood boy in America," his publicist chimes in.
So there you have it, readers. Alex Pettyfer: Boring lover of America. We don't totally buy it, do you?

"The most misunderstood by in America," his publicist chimes in.
The misunderstood BY in America? Huh? What does that mean? Sorry to nitpick but this is such a small article with just a few small paragraphs, wouldn't have been hard to proofread..
Ooh, see it was corrected quickly! Good looking out...its funny i didnt even think the word was BOY, i thought the quote was just going to be "the misunderstood by america"
My apologies, Mark. Sometimes our text editor auto-corrects and changes things that it shouldn't, and we don't always catch the errors immediately. I did notice this one shortly after it was posted, before I even saw your comment. We're the victims of typos from time to time as well.
Ironically, Mark, you appear to have left out some apostrophes in your comment (second one).
Also, your SHIFT key seems to only work intermittently.
Sorry to nitpick.
