Certain media outlets recently caused a stir regarding the fact that Prince William's bride-to-be, Kate Middleton, is allegedly not a virgin. (Gasp! A woman in an eight-year relationship in 2011 might have had sex? Surely you jest.)While the Palace has chosen not to make a fuss over the status of Middleton's v-card (a dignity they didn't afford the virginal Princess Diana in 1981), The Powers that Be may put their foot down when it comes to the color of her dress. A white dress has long symbolized purity and virginity, but the modern princess may go in a different direction.
Rumor has it that Middleton's dress, which is now finished, as she had her final fitting on Friday, may be of the non-traditional variety and have a splash of color involved. Middleton has worked hard to slim down her already svelte figure for the dress, which remains under lock and key -- the designer hasn't even been revealed.
Online gambling site Bodog.com is currently taking bets as to whether Kate will go for white -- among other things. (Do you really want to be the guy who bets that Prince Harry will forget to bring the rings altogether?)

What bull-s*** is this concept of the future princess always having to be a virgin!? Would they have a similar rule for their own sons? SEXIST...that's what the Windsors are!
I, for one, do not like the direction the world is taking. I think that William and Kate are DISGUSTING role models in terms of premarital sex if they did in fact experience it. After eight years living together it is more than just likely. In fact, that is probably one of the reasons they weren't married earlier. Why buy the cow when the milk is free?

I love the way they say she's "allegedly" not a virgin. If she's a virgin, pigs will come flying from in there.
Wedding dresses aren't white to show the bride is a virgin, they're white because Queen Victoria wore a white dress in 1840 when she married Albert. It was a Victorian fashion that everyone decided to follow and it stuck.
