White iPhone 4 arrives: Peep the pale gadget

Looks like Apple is about to make good on their promise to deliver a blanched iPhone 4.

The company had confirmed that the mythical white fourth generation iPhone would be available one fine spring day, and that day has (almost) arrived. Apple will reportedly announce the newest member of the iFamily on Wednesday (Apr. 27), but impatient techies all over the world have already stumbled across photos of their future toy.

Engadget nabbed two pictures of the elusive pale phone packaging courtesy of a small Belgian retailer. Apparently, said merchant is also willing to sell the 16 and 32 GB phones over the web. Unfortunately for most of us, they'll only ship within the Benelux region.

Will you run out to the store and purchase the new blanched iPhone? Or are you holding out for the iPhone 5, which we presume will be capable of folding our laundry and cooking us dinner?
