White House Easter Egg Roll: Colbie Caillat, Michelle Obama's 'Let's Move' initiative

The 133rd annual Easter Egg Roll is happening Monday (April 25). It is traditionally held on the front lawn of the White House on Easter Monday. This year it features Colbie Caillat singing the National Anthem, the Harlem Globetrotters demonstrating their fun tricks, a reading from figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi and a performance from The Isiserettes, a Des Moines-based drill and drum corps.
The Easter Egg Roll was reportedly started in 1814 by First Lady Dolly Madison and was held on the Capitol grounds. In 1878, the event was moved to the White House. The reason the 133rd math does not work is because during wartimes, the Easter Egg Roll was not always held.
The theme for this year's Easter Egg Roll is "Get Up and Go," which is part of the First Lady Michelle Obama's "Let's Move!" initiative to combat childhood obesity. Looks like fun!
